YASHICA TLR CAMERAS. The brand name YASHICA was formed from the words YASHIMA and CAMERA in the same vein as Leitz Camera (LEI CA). And perhaps it's no surprise that the name RolleiFlex led Yashica to name their camera YASHICA FLEX.
Thus began the Yashicaflex range of TLR cameras of which there were several variants over a number of years starting in June 1953.
1970 heralded the introduction of what was to be the last of the Yashica TLR camera range, the highly popular, even today, Yashica Mat 124G.
Some of the Yashica TLR camera models are extremely rare and to find one in good condition is becoming quite difficult. The rarest models to look out for are the Yashica-Auto, Yashica B, MolfoReflex, PigeonFlex and YashimaFlex. Also quite scarce are the Yashica Rookie, Yashicaflex S and AS, and Yashica-44 TLR models in lavender or rose colours. If one of these is on your wish list then you might just find what you want right here.
